Pitney Bowes Confirmation Services
Examples: 1 | 2 | 3 | 4

Background:
Pitney Bowes was selling a new postage meter with a new package tracking service over the phone to their small business customers. The new technology was difficult to explain and sales results were falling short of expectations.

The Program:
Telemarketers guide their prospects to a specialized Web site that demonstrates how the service works -- literally guiding prospects through the process and enabling them to interactive with the meter. Prospects then use a savings calculator to find out how much they could be saving vs. overnight services (effectively closing the deal themselves).

The Web site has been a great success. Conversion rates immediately doubled, resulting in the site paying for itself within weeks.
