Background:
Email was an untapped opportunity for Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield to grow their high-value relationships with Employers, Providers, Members, and Brokers.

The Program:
O’Connell Marketing guided Anthem through a disciplined process to establish short term and long term opportunities, needs, and goals for email. Through an RFP process we evaluated the top 11 email vendors in the nation, chose five finalists for presentations, provided recommendations to Anthem and assisted in contract negotiations with the chosen vendor.

Pilot email programs are underway. We continue to consult Anthem as this channel grows.
