Background:
Employer eServices is a suite of self-service tools that enables Anthem’s corporate customers to manage their health plans online. The benefit is significant cost-savings to Anthem. The challenge is converting customers to this new way of doing business with a sales force that is more familiar with selling health plans than technology services.

The Program:
A CD-ROM positions Employer eServices as a way for corporations to more efficiently manage their health benefits plans. The CD-ROM is used both as training tool for Anthem’s sales force and an education tool during sales meetings with Anthem’s customers.

The CD-ROM has been a big hit and has led to related CD-ROMs targeting Providers (Physicians) and Members (Employees).
